Grapevine Liquor & Wine

jimmy tharpeOwner Jimmy Tharp  attributes his interest in establishing a premier liquor and wine establishment to his Grandfather, one of the first liquor store owners in the state of Mississippi.

Jimmy’s grandfather opened his first liquor store in 1965 in Greenville, MS. just shortly after prohibition.

Jimmy opened Grapevine Liquor & Wine in an effort to continue a longstanding family tradition.

Jimmy makes sure to carry a large assortment of wines in addition to a wide array of liquors.

He has seen a tremendous growth in the wine market and attributes much of that growth to some of the health benefits that have been attributed to wine consumption over the past few years.
